About the school
Kangole Girls’ Senior Secondary School is nestled beneath the majestic Morulinga hills of Napak, just a stone’s throw away from the Morulinga State Lodge, you will find Kangole Girls’ Senior Secondary School. We are a missionary-founded institution that stands as the educational beacon of the Karamoja region. Our rich history and commitment to excellence have shaped the lives of countless young women since our establishment in 1976 by the Catholic Diocese of Moroto.
Kangole Girls School, located in Ngoleriet, Lokoreto Parish, Napak district, is a place where dreams take flight. We are proud to be run by the Sacred Heart Sisters and are honored to provide education to over 1000 girls, offering both ordinary and advanced levels of study.
As we celebrate the milestones of our journey, it is essential to acknowledge the strong bond that exists among our alumni. Our recent fundraising event brought together hundreds of former students, well-wishers, and distinguished guests. Our school is incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated and diverse team of staff members who play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience at Kangole Girls’ Senior Secondary School. With a total of 93 staff members, including 61 teachers, our institution benefits from a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and a shared commitment to our students’ growth and development.
Our teachers, numbering 61 strong, are the backbone of our academic excellence. They are carefully selected professionals who are passionate about imparting knowledge and nurturing our students. These educators go above and beyond in the classroom, creating engaging and enriching learning environments, and offering mentorship and guidance to our students.
But our staff extends beyond the classroom. The additional 32 staff members are an integral part of our school community, providing essential support in various areas, such as administration, maintenance, counseling, and extracurricular activities. Their dedication ensures the smooth functioning of the school and enhances the overall experience for our students.
