Curriculum

Our Curriculum

Our School diligently adheres to a competency-based curriculum that places significant emphasis on five essential aspects: knowledge, understanding, skills, values, and a positive attitude. This curriculum aligns with the guidelines provided by the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC). When students join our institution at the age of 13, they embark on a four-year lower school program meticulously crafted to prepare them comprehensively for Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) assessments. During the initial two years (S1 and S2), students engage with a diverse range of subjects that address these five dimensions. They acquire knowledge, deepen their understanding, develop essential skills, internalize core values, and cultivate a positive attitude. As they progress to S3 and S4, the focus narrows to nine core subjects while still prioritizing these five facets. This holistic approach ensures that our students not only excel academically but also become responsible, compassionate, and competent individuals. In upper secondary, spanning two years, students continue to specialize while honing these critical attributes, choosing up to three principal subjects and two subsidiary subjects, thus preparing them for success in both UNEB examinations and life beyond the classroom. The School takes immense pride in delivering a competency-based curriculum that equips students with the knowledge, understanding, skills, values, and positive attitude needed to make meaningful contributions to society.
